This event, coordinated by the IPS, is the UKs only dedicated Audio Show for industry professionals.

The venue is the popular and accessible Ealing Town Hall in west London. The date is Saturday the 15th of October and it is open between 11:00 and 17:00 to all registered attendees. If you work in TV, radio, film, live events, education, streaming or games ~ whether production or post-production, this is the event for you.

12:00 RF Gain Structure, Filtering, and Wireless Banana Skins with Pyers Easton of Raycom.

RF principles are the same whether in a studio, on a stage or at a location. Pyers will be concentrating on the RF gain structure, how it can help you out, and how it can knock you down.

14:00 Quality Parameters of Microphones with Helmut Wittek from Schoeps.

This lecture shows which parameters are decisive for the sound quality of a microphone. Both metrological and perceptual criteria will be discussed.

16:00 Metadata workflows: from location to post with Marc Specter of Kraken.

Marc will talk about 'things' that location recordists do with metadata which might have implications for post production, and more…….
